Demarcation Enclosures

Well, a favorite vendor of the Blinky Flashy Community has walked out. YBBS was the supplier of choice for all the Keptel Enclosures that we all love. The current suppliers of these types of enclosures want large minimum orders and some even want business credit checks. I setup WLC Ventures to handle Co-Ops and other items for tax reasons that have been discussed on the DIYC forums in detail. With my business credentials and some bargaining, I have gotten some competitive pricing on all the enclosures although I have to pre-pay, buy large quantities AND pay for shipping to my location. Needless to say, the prices are higher than what YBBS offered. We try to keep stock in all the enclosures. The lead time when they are out of stock can range from 1 week to 6 weeks. If you want large quantities by a specific date, please let us know before you place the order.

TA-200

This little box is what started the process that became the SSRez. The SSRez was designed for this small enclosure. The board fits off the left so that you have room for the wires to fit in next to the terminals. This enclosure is also used for some of RJ's designs

CG-500

The CG-500 is a smaller version of the CG-1000 below. Known systems that require the CG-500

CG-1000

Specifications for the CG-1000 can be found here. The CG-1000 can be used for the following systems:

• Renard SS 8
• Renard SS 16
• Renard 24
• Renard 24HC

• Renard 64XC

• Helix
• Renard 48LSD

This comes 10 to a case but you are not limited to buying case quantities. However, shipping for these items is not inexpensive. They are bulky and heavy. Keeping your order to case quantities will give you be the best overall price delivered to your door.

CG-1500

The CG-1500 is sort of an oddball. It is deeper, wider and taller than the CG-1000 but is also much heavier (2.6 lbs compared to 1 lbs for the CG-1000). Some DIYCer's prefer the deeper box as there is more room. This can be used on the same systems as the CG-1000. However, the cost is much higher given the weight change. Specific Models that are known to REQUIRE the CG-1500

CG-2000

The CG-2000 is used for the Renard 24SS (NOT the Renard 24 or the Renard 24HC). This is a longish rectangular enclosure that are about 1.6 lbs each. They come 10 to a case.

Shipping

Shipping for these guys is difficult to determine unless you are buying case quantities. For now, WLC Ventures will simply send you a separate invoice for shipping after all the information is gathered. It is roughly $20/case UPS Ground from Houston to Los Angeles if that gives you any idea. This is based on our discounts with UPS and we do not mark up the shipping cost.
